A heat pump is part of a home heating and cooling system and is installed outside your home. Like an air conditioner such as central air, it can cool your home, but it’s also capable of providing heat. In cooler months, a heat pump pulls heat from the cold outdoor air and transfers it indoors, and in warmer months, it pulls heat out of indoor air to cool your home. They are powered by electricity and transfer heat using refrigerant to provide comfort all year round. Because they handle both cooling and heating, homeowners may not need to install separate systems to heat their homes. In colder climates, an electric heat strip can be added to the indoor fan Coil for additional capabilities. An example of a dual-system brazed heat exchanger in a heat pump is the evaporator-condenser. This heat exchanger is used to transfer heat between the refrigerant and the air or water circulating in the system.

The evaporator-condenser consists of a series of aluminum plates brazed together to form channels for the refrigerant and coolant. The refrigerant flows through the channels on the evaporator side, where it absorbs heat from the air or water flowing through the channels on the condenser side.

The evaporator-condenser is a key component of the heat pump, transferring heat from the refrigerant to the air or water circulating in the system. This enables the heat pump to provide heat or cooling inside a building, depending on the user's needs.

Constructing Method

Stainless steel 316 strip combines with copper strip to form a layer of steel-copper structure, intertwining with each other. Then cutting machine will cut these strips into desirable pieces as in plate shape. Here comes our shaping machine where the steel-copper plates are squeezed to form a corrugated structure on the surface. After piling up these plates in certain orders, they are put into a vacuum welding machine for melting copper foil and make up a stable structure. The connections can be Flange or ther types.
