The Brazed plate heat exchanger is a miniaturization of the traditional Plate Heat Exchanger, and its heat exchanger plates are mostly made of 304/316L stainless steel for pressing. As shown in the figure above, the concavo-convex lines of adjacent plates are combined in opposite directions at 180°, forming staggered contact points at the positions of the ridges. These contact points are closed after vacuum welding to form a complex system of staggered channels in which the medium in the heat exchanger generates a strong turbulent flow to achieve high heat transfer. The brazing material is copper, and the melting point of copper is around 1083°C, while that of stainless steel is at 1539°C. When heated to above 1100°C in vacuum, the copper solder melts and fills these contact points under the principle of siphon.
