Pressure Vessel production process

The manufacturing process of pressure vessels can generally be divided into: raw material acceptance process, scribing process, cutting process, rust removal process, machining process, rolling process, assembly process, and welding process, non-destructive testing process, hole opening and scribing process, general inspection process, heat treatment process, pressure test process, anti-corrosion process.

Weldment production steps

The process of welded structure production mainly includes:

a. Material preparation: steel straightening, treatment, and outlining.

b. Cutting and blanking: required shape through cold processing, such as shearing, sawing, etc.; or through heat processing like gas cutting, plasma arc cutting, air carbon arc cutting, etc.

c. Bevel processing and workpiece forming

The groove processing of welded joints includes groove forming processing before welding and carbon arc gouging of the root of the weld.

For components with different angles or curved surface requirements, methods such as flanging, bending, pressing, and linear heating are used to plastically deform the steel plate into the required shape. This process is called forming processing.

4. Assembly

Assembly is generally performed on a platform or tire frame. The basic requirements for the assembly process include the following: (1) The components should not move, tilt, or twist after installation and positioning. (2) Ensure that the assembly structure meets the requirements of the drawings and the joints meet the requirements of the welding assembly process. (3) Conduct quality inspection on the assembly structure to meet technical requirements.

5. Welding

6. Inspection

The production process should be strictly followed. From material preparation, steel straightening, cutting and bevel processing to assembly, fixing and welding, quality inspection must be carried out.
